REC Foundation is the CSR arm of REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under Ministry of Power. We have sanctioned over 300 CSR projects and disbursed more than Rs 1100 Crore under these projects. We strive to achieve a balance of economic, environmental and social imperatives. We are actively involved in facilitating setting up of projects designed to reduce its carbon footprint and ensure sustainable and secure growth. Through our initiatives we attempt to fund and support socially beneficial projects with sustainability as a guiding principle, giving priority to issues of foremost concern as in the national development agenda and to reach a wide spectrum of beneficiaries with a view to empower economically and socially backward communities. Our initiatives have been carried out in the fields of sanitation and hygiene facilities, promotion of healthcare facilities, skill development, women empowerment, environmental sustainability, sports and rural infrastructural development in order to facilitate an inclusive social development.
